When the opportunity to co-sponsor with Microsoft, TripAdvisors, Perkett PR and Atlas Venture, a unique networking event glorifying frivolity and drinking for the emerging technology community arose, T3 jumped on it. It's not every day we can hob knob with our clients, colleagues, and friends in such a lively venue as the PopSignal Networking Event at Tequila Rain.
Loosely structured with no panels, no presentations, no silencing of cell phones - PopSignal was warmly received and very well attended as it took just 48 hours to sell out the 500 available event tickets. The result was a sea of entrepreneurs, bloggers, and technology enthusiasts indulging in each other's company in addition to the open bar and gratis appetizers generously supplied by the folks at PopSignal.
While event-goers were afforded the special opportunity to meet T3's collection of premiere real estate professionals on-hand to orchestrate the T3 activities, their pleasure was compounded by the T3 Triathlon - a rigorous three-pronged course consisting of darts, beer pong, and bean bag toss. Winners were crowned T3 Champions.
 
T3 capped off the evening with a raffle for four box seat Red Sox tickets. We raffled quickly and revealed Steve McVeey of TripAdvisor to be the lucky recipient of the prize. His employment by one of the sponsors aroused the ire of the crowd and mayhem nearly ensued. Fortunately, a waitress with a platter of drinks came to the rescue and all was forgiven.
 
Recognizing that many of T3's best relationships started with a couple of founders and one crazy idea, the PopSignal event provided the perfect platform to meet the next generation of innovators.
