Fallon Community Health Plan (FCHP) is a leader in the senior health care marketplace offering many programs, services and resources that enrich the quality of life of members and seniors in the community.
BUSINESS QUESTION
As is common in the development of healthcare facilities, FCHP was contacted by a large developer and proposed a partnership where Fallon would enter into an exclusive agreement with this developer to construct x properties across Greater Boston. The developer’s value proposition included financial advantages through economies of scale, continuity and control of facility standards.
APPLIED BUSINESS APPROACH
Fallon engaged T3’s Advisory Services group to conduct due diligence and determine whether the proposed partnership would deliver value versus alternative means of developing the needed facilities. Through FILL IN THE BLANKS, T3 helped Fallon assess the positives and negatives of the proposed collaboration and ultimately came to the conclusion the partnership was not in the best interests of FCHP.
