Government/Education/Not for Profit Sector

T3’s Government/Education/Non Profit (“GNP”) Sector Group provides leading non profits and institutions a wide range of real estate services. The sector team is lead by Jack Troast. Troast is a graduate of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government where he was a Littauer Fellow for academic excellence and commitment to public service.

Prior to T3, Troast worked in various appointed positions in government, most recently in the Romney Administration where he served as Deputy Director in the Massachusetts Department of Business and Technology. In addition to his work in state government Troast has significant experience as a real estate consultant and developer.

As an advisor, T3 provides GNP clients with conflict free real estate advice. This includes services such as portfolio strategy, valuation, site acquisition/disposition and owners rep.

T3 GNP Sector Experience:

T3 was retained by a leading research university to negotiate a 50,000 square foot lease for an “off campus” location. T3 ultimately renegotied the proposed deal saving the University time and money.
T3 is working on behalf of a leading university’s alumni association negotiating a lease for an alumni club facility. T3’s work includes rental rate negotiation as well as a variety of lease terms and conditions.
In 2009 T3 has been active in the formation of a non- profit association of leading suburban Boston companies. The association, known as the 128 Winter Street Council, is working to improve the workplace environment by addressing common infrastructure and traffic issues. T3 GNP Director Jack Troast is Acting Director of the Council.
