The first rule of The Lobby is that you don’t talk about The Lobby. But I can’t NOT talk about it – at least a little – to share some thoughts about what an incredible event it is.
For those who aren’t familiar with The Lobby “event,” – I won’t call it a conference because it really isn’t one – its founder, David Hornik, describes it as “a premier gathering of thought leaders in the digital media ecosystem. There are no speakers. There are no panels. Rather, the event is designed to encourage open and honest conversation among an amazing group of attendees.”
First and foremost, I want to thank David Hornik and August Capital for producing such an amazing and carefully crafted experience. Every detail, every activity, every meal reflects the spirit of the gathering and the unique people that attend it.
All of that said, the attendees are truly what make The Lobby the best experience possible. Every moment is devoted to genuine, candid discussion that is driven by the attendees and promotes personal, professional and leadership growth. And there is a true sense of community – connecting and reconnecting with business leaders who are just as excited to be a part of such a transformational event.
Lastly, a big shout out to all my fellow Lobby mates – it was an incredible experience and I can’t wait for next year!
